Station "Nurly Zhol" is a modern six-level building with an area of 100 square meters. The first and second floors are equipped with Parking spaces for 740 cars, the same number can be located on the adjacent territory of the station. On the third floor there is an exit to the platform, on the fourth – comfortable waiting rooms and a room for mother and child, on the fifth – shops, cafes and restaurants, on the sixth – the administration of the station. The maximum capacity of the station is up to 35 thousand passengers per day. Sixty percent of all trains are served at the new station" Nurly Zhol", the remaining forty percent at the old station of Astana. Alau is a world-class ice palace, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing to create "fast ice". Due to the unique architecture and location of the building is considered to be a landmark and sports gates of the capital. The heart of the Palace is the ice arena, which consists of a 400-meter skating track with stands for 7,462 seats, 2 hockey courts, a hall of the jury, a hall for press conferences, 13 locker rooms for athletes. The total area of the sports complex is 65,481 m. Combining the perfection of technical equipment and the uniqueness of the architectural project, the staff of the Palace aims to become one of the best plain skating rinks in the world. During the 7th Asian winter games 9 continental records were set on the ice of the Palace. "Alau" not only won the status of the Kazakhstan forge of records, but also took the 6th place (out of 641 possible) in the world ranking of skating stadiums. In 1998, a monument to justice was opened near the building of the Astana city court. The composition easily recognizes the majestic posture of famous elders: Kazybek-bi, Aiteke-bi, Tole-bi. Almost 300 years ago, thanks to these three wise men, who managed to unite in one separate clans, tribes and zhuzes in the fight against the Dzungarian militia, the Kazakh people did not cease to exist as an ethnic group. Fountain "Saka warriors" is dedicated to Saka tribes inhabiting Kazakhstan at the beginning of our century. His idea is very interesting and original. A stream of water flows from a huge oval bowl placed on a high pedestal. Below you can see the statues of soldiers. They all sit astride a horse, holding in one hand the military attribute symbolizing the power and superiority. On horses the gilded harness, soldiers are dressed in the gold ceremonial armor identical to those which found in a barrow near Almaty. Small streams of water fall from the bowl into the pool, where soldiers and their horses stand. The exterior of the fountain is also picturesque, it is surrounded by the most famous buildings of national importance and high cultural value: Hazret Sultan mosque, Palace of independence, Palace of peace and harmony, stele "Kazak Eli", which are part of the complex "Kazakh people". | |
